David participated in the Fall Semester New York Continuo Collective concert exploring music from 1614 including music by Caccini and Monteverdi. The final concert was presented at 8:00 pm at Church of St. Luke in the Fields,
487 Hudson Street, New York, NY.
Under the direction of Grant Herreid, Richard Kolb, Judith Malafronte and Charlie Weaver, this unique organization provides the participants with the opportunity to learn the art of continuo from some of the best continuo players on the New York early music scene. David appeared in concert entitled Banquetto - A Musical Banquet with Affetti, a new vocal ensemble that he co-founded. The concert took place at the United Methodist Church in Madison, New Jersey at 4:00 pm. Specializing in solo and ensemble vocal music, Affetti presented an afternoon of vocal chamber music and instrumental songs and dances with lute, guitar and renaissance recorders, featuring selections by Des Prez, Monteverdi, Caccini, Peri, Dowland and Morley. Consisting of sopranos Anne McKenna and Lieve Hendren, alto Christine Bancroft, tenor David Kellett and baritone Matthew Walsh. For Banquetto, the vocal group was assisted by guest artists John Burkhalter on renaissance recorders and John Orluk Lacombe on lute and baroque guitar.

David sang two settings of Robert Herricks' poetry set to music for voice and lute by Henry Lawes and a selection from Lawes' Comus (Sweet Echo, Sweetest Nymph) with lutenist, John Orluk Lacombe as part of Nigel Smith's Eng 326 class The 17th Century at Princeton University.

the celebration of the life of beloved lutenist and teacher Patrick O'Brien held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, organized by Tony Elitcher and Andy Taras under the auspices of the New York Continuo Collective, the teaching and performing organization which Pat was responsible for creating.

David appeared as tenor soloist in the Chinese New Year Spectacular produced by HX Chinese School at Plainsboro celebrating the lunar Chinese new year, also called Spring Festival. The Spectacular was a variety show mixing Chinese and western acts, featuring Chinese folk dances, ballet, Kung Fu, acrobatics, comedy play and various genres of music. The concert was presented at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. |

David joined the Drew Camerata for their debut concert. This new ensemble is
24-member, professional chamber choir in residence at Drew University. The Camerata rehearses and performs during the off-seasons of the academic year, primarily in the winter and summer months. Under the direction of Jason Bishop, Drew's Director of Choral & Vocal Studies, Camerata's membership represents a cross-section of Drew faculty, staff, and students with extensive singing experience, as well as professional musicians from the wider community. The concert was presented in the Concert Hall of the Dorothy Young Center for Arts at Drew.

David attended the Amherst Early Music Festival Winter Weekend Workshop at Rutgers in Camden, New Jersey participating in the Steffani Project and a masterclass led by Baroque specialist, Julianne Baird and centered around the wonderful duets of Agostino Steffani. The project culminated with a final concert with Richard Stone and Mark Rimple leading the continuo artists. |
